Island ordering
The South Padre Island service page says propane is stocked on the mainland and directs island customers to arrange delivery or fill cylinders at the Harlingen or Brownsville yards before crossing; Port Isabel is listed as phone-order/delivery only.

Schedules 1 detail
Laguna Vista propane demand is seasonal, peaking November through March with winter-Texan RVs and seasonal homes; the company recommends arranging a pre-arrival fill before travel rather than calling after arrival, since the same six-week window is busy for every supplier on the coast.
Services 2 details
For South Padre Island, Hino Gas supplies bulk propane to island restaurants, hotels, condo kitchens and beach bars (scheduled around causeway traffic and season), cylinder exchange/refill at the mainland yards, RV refills, commercial tank installation/sizing, standby generator supply, and grill-bottle exchange for rental managers.
Hino Gas offers residential, commercial and industrial propane delivery, tank sales/installation and autogas services.
Amenities 2 details
Hino Gas advertises Spanish-language service throughout its process, by phone and on site, for customers across its Rio Grande Valley and coastal service area.
Hino Gas specializes in RV-park propane service and says it has the manpower and equipment to serve the largest RV parks in Cameron County, using smaller one-ton delivery trucks (rather than heavier two-ton trucks) to avoid damaging park streets.
Policies 1 detail
Propane deliveries run on business days only; the company does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday, even though the yards themselves keep limited Saturday morning counter hours.
Prices 1 detail
Residential customers can save up to 10% by pre-paying for propane through the company's online ordering portal; the discount is stated as residential-only.
