Schedules 1 detail
AEP Texas publishes a full list of 2026 holiday closures affecting business/office hours (not outage response, which is 24/7): New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day (observed Friday, July 3), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Services 1 detail
Moving, starting, stopping or transferring electric service, and setting up new construction service for a new home or business, are all handled through self-service online pages rather than a phone appointment or in-person office.
Policies 1 detail
AEP Texas offers real bill-payment assistance short of disconnection: short payment extensions (pay in full within a few extra days), Extended Payment Arrangements (spread a balance over several months), and an Average Monthly Payment (AMP) plan that levels the bill out across the year, all self-service through the website.
