Every SPI Rentals unit, Marisol included, comes with a fully stocked kitchen (coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils), bed linens and bath towels for each guest (beach towels are not provided -- bring your own), and a starter kit of basic supplies (shampoo, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, a kitchen sponge, and laundry detergent) meant to get guests started, not to last the whole stay.

Booking a Marisol (or any SPI Rentals) unit requires a rental agreement and deposit: if the reservation is made more than 30 days before arrival, 35% of the total is due at booking with the balance due 30 days before arrival; if booked within 30 days of the stay, full payment is required at booking.
Each rental agreement sets a maximum number of vehicles for the unit; going over that number risks a city citation/fine, and the company recommends using public parking for any extra cars.
Guest counts are capped at each unit's normal sleeping configuration -- no air mattresses or extra overnight guests, and no daytime-only extra visitors beyond the number approved on the rental agreement.
Optional trip/travel insurance (Standard or Cancel-For-Any-Reason plans) can be added to a reservation; SPI Rentals directs guests to that insurance for cancellation protection rather than offering a standard refund policy of its own.
Pets are allowed only at units specifically marked 'pet friendly' (dogs only, typically up to two per home, combined-weight limits may apply), for a one-time non-refundable pet fee; dogs must stay off furniture/beds and in common areas, be kenneled when left alone in the unit, stay leashed outside, and owners must pick up all droppings before departure. This is a company-wide SPI Rentals policy; whether any specific Marisol unit is pet-friendly is set per-listing.
SPI Rentals properties, Marisol included, cannot host weddings, receptions, or events of any kind -- the company states this is a City of South Padre Island restriction on vacation rental homes, not a house preference.
Standard check-in is 4:00pm and check-out is 10:00am; unlike a hotel, SPI Rentals cannot offer early check-in or late check-out, though guests can book an extra adjoining night if the unit is available to effectively extend access.
The City of South Padre Island's noise ordinance applies at all hours; after 10:00 PM, noise from the unit must not be detectable outside the home.
Units are cleaned only before arrival and after departure, not daily during the stay; guests can pay extra for additional housekeeping mid-stay, and all SPI Rentals units, Marisol included, are strictly non-smoking.
