The charter boat, a Haynie 23 Super Cat, accommodates up to 6 anglers plus captain and crew, and has a small restroom, T-top shade, two Simrad GPS units with down-scan and side-scan, a premium stereo, radar, two power-pole shallow-water anchors, a wireless trolling motor, separate drink and fish ice chests, and Coast-Guard-grade life jackets.

Trip price includes STX-brand rods/reels/tackle, live bait, lures, bottled water, ice, catch cleaning and filleting, and hotel-or-jetty transfer from Port Isabel to the departure site; guests need to bring their own Texas fishing license with saltwater stamp, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, drinks/snacks and weather-appropriate clothing.
