The Texas General Land Office's Adopt-A-Beach Fall Coastwide Cleanup is on Saturday, 19 September 2026. The GLO's announcement puts it at 25 locations along the Texas coast, from Sea Rim State Park in the north to Boca Chica in the south, and sends volunteers to an Eventbrite registration to sign up.
The GLO's own cleanups page lists four dates for 2026: 6 February on South Padre Island, 7 February in the Coastal Bend, 18 April coastwide, and 19 September coastwide. South Padre Island is named on that page as a cleanup location, and the page names the Isla Grand Hotel at 500 Padre Blvd., South Padre Island, as the hotel offering group rates for the April and September cleanups.
One thing the announcement does not give is a start time, and neither does the cleanups page. Register first and take the time from the registration rather than from us.
