2026 summer fireworks schedule
Visit South Padre Island says summer fireworks are scheduled over Laguna Madre Bay on Thursdays and Fridays and over the Gulf on Fridays and Saturdays. Its April 23, 2026 guide lists:
- Henrietta's Bayfront Restaurant and LongBoard on Fridays at 9:20 p.m.
- Louie's Backyard on Tuesdays and Fridays during June and July at 9:15 p.m.
- Clayton's on Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m.
These times come from the visitor bureau's 2026 summer guide. Weather and daylight can change a display. Read the official summer fireworks guide and check the official events calendar on the day.
LongBoard's own site currently advertises Friday fireworks at 9:20 p.m., without stating a season end. Check the LongBoard home page before making that display the anchor of an evening.
Choose the shore deliberately
Bay and Gulf displays are different events. Confirm which side of the island hosts the display, then choose a legal public place or a venue you are actually visiting. A restaurant mention is not a reservation or a promise of a clear table view.
