Waterfront Restaurants

Choose South Padre waterfront dining by the kind of bay-side meal you want: breakfast through dinner at Lobo Del Mar, buffet and patio dining at Louie's, or open-air food and music on West Palm Street.

On South Padre, waterfront often means the bay side

Lobo Del Mar Cafe sits on Laguna Madre Bay at the end of West Palm Street. Its restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with seafood and grilled dishes alongside American food. It is a straightforward choice when the group wants a meal on the water rather than a beach-bar stop.

Louie's Backyard is on Laguna Boulevard with a bayfront patio as well as indoor dining. Its restaurant page centers the evening around a prime-rib and seafood buffet, steaks, shrimp, fresh fish, and a sunset view. It is a different kind of waterfront dinner from a short dockside lunch.

West Palm Street stays close to the water

Next to Lobo Del Mar, LongBoard Bar and Grill describes a waterfront restaurant and entertainment venue with an open-air deck and live music. That pairing is useful when dinner may turn into an evening out without moving the car.

For a bayfront bar with food, drinks, sunset views, and live music, Laguna BOB is another water-side stop on Laguna Boulevard. If seafood is the reason for dinner, browse seafood; for the music plan, use bars and live music.

Check the current restaurant page for a particular menu, event, seating arrangement, or weather plan before crossing the island for the view.
