Ask where the captain expects to fish, how long the trip lasts, how many passengers can come, and how much of the booking is normally spent traveling. Those answers tell you more about the day than a list of target fish.
Know what the price includes
Before paying, ask about:
- tackle and bait;
- fishing-license coverage;
- fish cleaning and gratuity;
- accessibility needs;
- the deposit, cancellation policy, and meeting point.
Target species, legal seasons, sea conditions, fuel, and boat availability can change. A low advertised price may not be the complete price, and a target list can't promise a catch.
